Kajiado County Water Crisis

Following the complaints that Consumer Grassroots Association has been receiving over water crisis in Kajiado County, we held a meeting with Oloolaiser Water and Sewage Director, Eng. Nickson Ntikosia on Wed April 10, 2019 at their headquaters in Ongata Rongai. It emerged that the main cause of the water shortage was due to disconnection of electricity. He however assured consumers that he will do his best to ensure there is water in the area. He confirmed that engineers were on the site to repair the pumps and expected to have them complete the task by close of business today.

On the proposed tarrif review, the managing director assureconsumers that until a stakeholder's consultative forum takes place, they will not review the current tariffs. The company will communicate on the next date of the forum within seven days

Consumer GrassRoot Association (CGA) will follow up to ensure that all has been accomplished. Failure to which necessary action will be taken.
